On this page you see all you need to build the ruined villa for Mordheim. This two story building is bigger than all found in the Morteim box.

What do you need

You need a color printer, cardboard, glue, scissors and a little time. I used the high class laser color printer in our bureau. If you only have a ink jet printer, be careful to let the ink dry.
The cardboard I used was from pizza boxes (three pizzas are needed for the house).

Printing the walls

You will need the floor picture and the two walls. Because the walls are to long for a normal paper I split them in three parts.
For printing I used the MS-Office photo editor. The jpeg format includes width and height, so you don't have to scale the images. They are all made in 150 dpi.

Building it

Now glue all the parts to a piece of cardboard. I put some big glasses on it while drying so that the cardboard doesn't wrap.
Then cut out the pieces. At last glue them together. Finished.

Then the complete walls, but I think you will need the split walls.

How did I make it

Everything is painted with GIMP. First I downloaded some patterns for the stones and the inner walls. I did even found some pictures for the windows.
Then I painted the walls. With the help of "fuzzy selection" you can select the inner walls and light them up a little. Then I used the airbrush tool to make the walls dirtier.
The dots on the outside walls are made with the "coffee strains" filter of GIMP. The vines are painted with the vine brush of GIMP. All in all it took me about three evenings (approximately 6 hours) to paint all the parts.
